Since when did walmart become the hopping place in the middle of the afternoon on monday? I had no clue that walmart was the happenin place on mondays! I had to run in to get some much needed essentials and boy was it a mad house. I do love the culture that is walmart though. I mean where else can you go and see women with rollers still being set in there hair in the middle of the afternoon? or a guy wearing a mid-drift shirt while its snowing out?
Do you think walmart set out to attract these types of behavior or are people really that lazy? I mean I know there were days in college I would go out in public in my sweats but I would never go out in a mid-drift shirt or curls in my hair. Makes me laugh everytime I am there.
On another completely unrelated and random note I can't sleep at night. The little guy growing in my belly has taken to using the night as his karote practice time. I thought sleeping wasn't a problem until the end of pregnancy and after the arrival of the little bundle of joy? I guess this just means that I am going to get some much needed practice on functioning with 4 hours of sleep. When did all you moms out there start losing your sleep? What other symptoms should I look out for?
One other random thing... it's snowing again! I think this is the snowest winter I have ever seen. Once the snow begins to melt and we start to see a hint of pavement the skies unleash snow again. I guess I shouldn't complain though since the snow has provided me with some much needed cold weather. I am constantly hot and today I walked around outside in my t-shirt on while carrying my winter jacket. I probably looked like one of the crazies I mentioned at walmart.
Sorry for all the randomness but I think the lack of sleep I've gotten the past 4 nights mixed with working fulltime has made me delirous and in desperate need for some coffee. Too bad I can't handle the heartburn that I get from drinking coffee or else I would be chugging it right now.
Ohhhh, have you ever been to www.peopleofwalmart.com ???? You have to check it out! You just described the kind of pictures that are on there on a daily basis. :P
ReplyDeleteI so remember those sleepless nights. It'll pass. When the baby is born. :)
