1.) I decided this Monday would be a great time to join in miscellany monday over at carissa's blog. Cause let's face it all my thought as of late have been completely.
2.) This saturday we made a trip to the farmers market with my parents. Apparently my huge belly is seen as a bouncing off point for other people. Example; I am waiting in line at my favorite vendor to buy some baklava (they sell some that is chocolate dipped and it is oh so good! I simply cannot resist it) when some lady decides to squeeze by me to get to the next vendor causing her to bounce off my belly. I say well hello and she glared at me. I guess a pregnant belly means nothing when you are on the hunt for the perfect tomato.
3.) Picture time of baby boy's changing table. Can't wait to have the little guy in his room :)
4.) God is slowly reminding me that I have no control over any part of my life. I try to make plans and He rearranges them. But I shouldn't be suprised this has been the lesson of my life for the past 5 years. You'd think I would stop trying to plan. Good thing God is always turning the bad into good.
5.) I got a new cell phone this weekend.... it is wonderful and makes texting so much easier. It will be perfect for when little man arrives and I can send one big text of his first picture. It also didn't require me signing up for a data plan which makes me extremely happy as I do not need another means of internet distraction.
6.) My car is fixed! Apparently the spurk plug wire went out. I didn't even know they had a wire ;) It is one pricey part to fix too. I told hubs next time it goes out I will just fashion a new one out of duct tape like MacGyver, he laughed but little does he know I am serious.
7.) Today I am getting my maternity shots taken! So excited to get professional pictures of this belly taken to one day show little man how big he made mommy. Just hoping with the heat coming today that I don't swell up like the girl on Willy Wolka who chewed the 5 course dinner gum and turned into a big blueberry. :)
Have a blessed Monday!
thanks for joining! i'm so excited to have you! your precious babe will be here before you know it! the changing table is adorable and i especially love the verse above! the bouncing belly thing is weird... i've experienced it too... but it happened at church so the lady was a lot nicer. : ) so glad you got your car fixed! i can't wait to get a cell phone with a letter pad... one can dream! ha ha! #4 - i think it's a lifelong lesson! happy monday!
