Love miscellany monday over at Carissa's blog especially since I haven't had time to post since little G-man has arrived this is a great way to give you all a few highlights from my week. Head on over to her blog and join in the miscellanies.
1~ Sorry for my lack of love to the bloggy world. Little G-man likes to eat every hour and if he is not eating he is pooping or peeing all over his changing table or dad :)
2~ I have been confined to the upper level of our house since my c-section. Today I decided to venture downstairs and grab my 10 year old laptop so that I could reconnect with the world. Therefore it took over 2 hours for me to get the laptop started and begin this post. Partially due to G-man eating the other part being this computer is super duper slow.
3~ Love love love this picture... 4 generations of G-men. And the one in the middle, W's grandpa, is who little g-man is named after. You can see the glow in his eyes and pride over his face. Love it!
4~ My favorite part of the day, besides holding lil gman is laying next to him giving him kisses. This photo pretty much captures our days.
5~ The sleep sheep has become my best friend at nights! Seriously, we turn it on next to the bassinet and lil gman sleeps about three hours at a time during the night. Who knew a stuffed sheep that makes the sound of a mother's heartbeat really could keep a baby sleeping?!? I am thankful to whoever invented that and it will now be my go to baby shower gift to all moms.
Time to go feed my cutie. Hope you all have a blessed week! I will try to catch up with you all and post more but no promises this cute little man knows how to pull at my heartstrings already ;)

ReplyDeleteIt isn't amazing after you have a baby what your realize are the "good" gifts. :) Glad he is sleeping pretty good at night! Hope the feedings are going well I know it can be tough and painful in the beginning! Praying you recover quickly from your C-section.

ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to pick up a sleep sheep for the shower gift of a friend. I know 2 babies due this month, one due next month (shower coming up) and another due in Oct. Sleep Sheep for everyone!

ReplyDeleteAwe, Kels, I love it! He is so wonderful and sweet! Little cutest ever! I also love the G-generation pic. I'm trying to give you time but DYING to talk to you. Hopefully he's done eating every hour, that gets painful and annoying. Love love love all the pics!
