Our garden is in full swing. Last night we went out to pick tomatoes and one was the size of lil gman's head, no joke. Here is a picture to proof it:
We then went for a walk through the neighborhood and checked out our neighbors gardens we realized our tomato plants are giant! Not sure if it is because of the spot we have them in or because W put 3 bags of fertilizer down at the beginning of the season. Here are some pictures of our garden.

Next year our artichokes will start producing, yummy
We also have grape tomatoes which I love to use for sauces and salads and to eat all by themselves
Never ever plant mint. It takes over and becomes a bush and you will never come up with enough stuff to use it in or enough money to pay people to take it.

Oh yum! That tomato is HUGE! Your garden looks delish! G man is as cute as ever! Um it totally could be that you have mutant tomatoes because of all of W's fertilizer! Your veggies loos SO SUPER YUMMY!

ReplyDeleteI wish I had a vegetable garden! We decided to try to keep the flower garden alive this year and if we do well we will try veggie garden next year.
Someone is growing up! :) I can not believe that tomato is that big!! Those grape tomatoes look good. I need to start a garden myself, tomatoes are the most expensive vegetable to buy!

ReplyDeletegosh, I am so jealous. I am a garden moron so I don't think I put my tomato plants in the "best" location. They aren't ripen well at all! I only have had two all summer. :( And our pepper plants are producing anything...oh well, glad your is doing well!
