I decided instead of recapping 2010 I would show you all ten of my favorite things that I came to love this year. There are many other things I loved this year but these are by far my favorites. Enjoy :)
~1~ LB...of course :) He is by far my favorite thing of this year. So he gets the number one spot. This picture cracks me up as he is living up to his name...linebacker. He has a mobile of football bears and one day he decided to pull a few off...the moment they fell off he tackled them thinking I would snatch them away. I could not stop laughing at him and his rolling around on top of them.
~2~ The beband! It was my saving grace during many months of pregnancy and post-pregnancy. Helped me stay in my smaller jeans while my belly grew huge and then helped me fit into those same jeans shortly after popping LB out. Who knew such a small piece of fabric could do such wonders.

~3~ The Sleep Sheep! This has helped us many of nights to get LB to sleep. We don't leave home without it.
~4~ Dirt Devil steam-mop Life-saving mop. Love it. It cleans up baby food so well and all the other things I continually drop on the floor.
~5~ So glad Trader Joe's came to the area! It has been a giant help with my dairy-free diet. I love everything about this store. Especially their roasted corn and poblano soup...yum!
~6~ Favorite t-shirts men's hanes perfect-fit v-neck. They are so affordable, two for $10 and they are so soft and fit super well. Hugs in all the right places and hides all the ugly spots. Love them.
~7, 8, and 9~ My favorite kitchen accessories; dutch oven, cast-iron panini press, and whistling tea kettle. I use at least one of these everyday. These three items can be found on my stove almost everyday. I am debating about buying another dutch oven so I can have two pots simmering away at once.
~10~ Wooden tea box with 6 loose leaf teas in it. I absolutely love tea and this is a great way to display six of my favorites. We got it as a Christmas gift this year from one of our dear friends, and I have used it everyday since we got it. I know it will be a favorite for many years to come so it takes a spot on my list.
Hope you all have a Happy and Safe New Year's eve! We will be hanging out at home and ordering food in. What traditions do you all have for ringing in the New Year? Growing up we always had cabbage and corned beef...my mom is a big fan of this day so she would go all out with all the fixings and gadgets for us. I am trying to decide which traditions to keep as LB grows up and we wake him to ring in the New Year. Of course this year he will stay quietly asleep in his crib when the clock strikes midnight. Who am I kidding, we will probably be sound asleep in our bed too.
I love your tea box!!! What kind of dutch oven do you have?
ReplyDeleteWhat no Keurig? (I am sure I spelled that wrong) ;)
ReplyDeleteGood idea...maybe I should do a post like that and I am going to have to try those tees, they do look comfy!
Happy New Year!
I love this. I miss hanging out with you in your kitchen. I feel like so much happened where food is involved! And you make great food!
