randoms

~1~ My boy has turned into quite the busy bee. I barely get a moment to breathe during the day because he is already into everything! Last week he found some blue paper that I didn't even know we had until I saw him eating it. Awesome mom award anyone? A few days later he had a large ball of blue paper in his poop. Awesome. Oh the things to come.

~2~ Remember that dog I was telling you about a few post ago? The one who is pooping in my yard all the time? Well the Lord has a funny way of solving problems for us and today I saw a for sale sign in their yard. Guess I just have to pray the new neighbors don't have an equally annoying animal ;) Anyone out there want to be my new neighbor? I'll bake you cookies and let you come play with LB whenever you'd like.

~3~ This past Friday at MOPS we talked about organization. I came home and threw away 25 things and then filled a bag with clothes and other things to donate. Hubs did the same thing. It feels so good to start the new year with less junk in our house. Or as W said "suck it clutter".

~4~ I decided that this year I would spend the last weekend of the month planning out the menu for the whole next month and then going shopping for most of it all at once. For all the hard work it is to do, I really enjoy knowing all our meals are already planned out and mostly shopped for. Sams club is definitely a big help on the whole budget.

~5~ I love this little guy. And all his rolls. I just want to eat him up :)

Hope you all have a happy Monday and blessed week! BTW hows your bible reading and time with the Lord going? I am really loving reading through the bible with W this year and God is continually teaching me how to be a better wife and mother.

Hop on over to Carissa's blog and join the randoms.

  1. What is MOPS?
I would love to be your neighbour...but I don't want to move and give up my healthcare and 1 year mat leave!

  2. Nothing more delicious than little baby rolls! I would love to have a nice friendly neighbor like you. I'd visit and play all the time, and we don't have a dog :D. And that's great that you're meal planning so far ahead. I'm usually good about doing 1-2 weeks ahead. It really does make life seem easier.

  3. Oh my word, I would love to have you as a neighbor. Want to switch out my current one, is that bad of me? They're nice, but their dogs...the smallest one comes over to my garage & front door to bark at us, really? Then they attacked my sweet dog.
