Bloggy award

Okay, so apparently I am suppose to tell you all 10 thing about me you do not already know and then pass this award on! So here you go 10 thing about me you may or may not know.

~One~ I use to be an assistant manager at Starbucks. I loved that job.Well except the 4:30am shift and all the people who didn't do their job right. Luckily though, I was blessed with a pretty awesome store and partners so I didn't have too many issues with people not doing their job. Except the one guy who stole a whole bunch of product and giftcards from us and would try to convince me that he went through 12 boxes of chai a night even though I could clearly see the sales record. 

~Two~ I have worked at four different churches. I could have a whole other blog about how I have survived being a Christian in the dysfunctional world of organized religion. 

~Three~ I once got fired from a grocery store for theft of one doughnut. Even though the bakery manager gave it to me. We both lost our job that day. I was fourteen...it was devastating, well until I realized how dumb it was. Now I just laugh about it.

~Four~ I was quite the sassy first grader and once during a spelling test I was asked to spell cat, instead I spelled d-o-g. 

~Five~ I was the only girl cut from the 9th grade basketball team. Yes, I was that awesome that they couldn't find a spot for me on the team ;)

~Six~ I have broken every single sewing machine I have ever used. Even in home ec my teacher had to finish my project for me because I jammed two machines trying to sew myself.

~Seven~ This one is a little depressing but most people don't know that my best friend died in 7th grade due to a heart problem. It took me a few years to move past but it is one of the stepping stones that brought me to the Lord my Junior year of High School.

~Eight~ I have one sister, two brothers, one half brother, and one step sister. So yes, I come from a blended family ;)

~Nine~ I am suppose to wear glasses. I own 2 pairs and am absolutely horrible at wearing them. W keeps trying to make me go to the eye doctor and get a new prescription but its too hard to go alone during the day and have LB with me. Or that is my excuse. I don't know what I have against glasses I just don't like to wear them. But I will show you all a picture of me in them and yes I posed for you all while doing my daily bible reading and drinking my chocolate chai latte, which reminds me I need to post that recipe for you all;)

~Ten~ I am a third generation Italian American, but I know zero italian. My Grandfather moved to America with his family when he was young, but both his parents ended up going back after a few years in the states. My grandfather passed away when I was ten so I never got the chance to ask him to teach me some italian. Maybe one day I will take a class and learn it myself so I can go to Italy and visit the place my grandpa grew up at.
