Okay, I finally am getting around to posting this recipe! It took me a little while to get my tea and then I got caught up in drinking tons of it. But I will tell you all the key to making this drink: Harney and Sons Indian Spice Chai. It is the best. Go here to purchase it. I promise it will be the best Chai you have ever had. And here is a picture of the essentials minus hot water, and milk of your choosing, I do soy :)
Here is how you make it:
Step One: Brew your tea according to directions except use 2 less ounces of water.
Step Two: Stem 6 oz of your choice of milk with 1 Tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder.
Step Three: Line your mug with 2 tsp of honey (or more if you like it real sweet)
Step Four: Sprinkle 2 tsp of raw sugar in your honey lined cup.
Step Five: Pour your stemmed cocoa milk into honey lined cup then top with your brewed tea.
Step Six: Thank me later for your glass of heaven in a cup :)
Hope you all enjoy! And if you don't use my recommendation of the Harney and Sons tea, which I highly recommend, it will still be delicious just not heaven in a cup ;)
oh my! This sounds SO good. We just ran out of coco powder...so I need to get more before I try it!

ReplyDeleteThis sounds right up your alley. Me, well I'm not so sure yet. If YOU made it for me withOUT soy, I would totally try it. :)
ReplyDeleteI think I need you to make it for me! Because I am not exactly sure how to do all that. Maybe when I see you in MARCH! :)
