Flavored Water

Y'all I have to admit I love flavoring my water. I've always been a huge fan of mint leaves out of our garden with some lemon slices thrown in for good measure to cool me down on a warm day. And now that spring is in full spring and our garden is about to come into harvest season I thought of share one of my favorite ways to flavor my water.

1 lemon, thinly sliced
5 strawberries, chopped
1/4 tsp. good quality vanilla extract
1 liter water (or however much your pitcher holds)
Throw first 3 ingredients in pitcher and smash it up a little bit with a spoon. Pour in cold water. Throw in your fridge for an hour or so for the favors to combine.
And there you have it a lovely refreshing glass of water :)

And just look at how pretty the pitcher is, definitely makes drinking water more fun.

  2. I love strawberry water. So good! I have a pitcher with a tube-like thing in the middle for infusing flavors into water. You put the fruit, or whatever, in the middle section and the water surrounds it and takes on the flavor.

  3. Oh man, that sounds good! I'm loving vanilla in my water. I've seen the filters Sarah is talking about. There are some that are even leak-proof so you can put it on its side in the fridge. Coolness!
