Week 9
I promise I was more excited about the baby than this picture shows :) I remember this is picture was taken shortly after our first appointment and right after we returned from Branson. It amazed me how quickly my belly started to grow and how I slowly outgrew my jeans. Our first appointment was amazing.. I loved seeing the first picture of our baby and seeing the our baby's little heart beat! I wish we could have stayed there all day watching the red beat of the heart!
Week 12
Still my smile looks fake but I promise I was excited! The first trimester I was just so tired all the time that I think my face looked that way all throughout. This picture is just after our second doctors appointment! I was so excited cause we heard the heartbeat and got reassured that everything was going well and our baby was developing properly. My favorite part of this appointment was hearing I was out of the first trimester.
Week 16
My face is starting to show the joy that is in my heart! This picture was taken just a little while ago and I am so excited! I can't believe we are 4 months along and our baby is growing so well! In a few weeks we will find out if we are having a little girl or little boy and I can't wait! Wade was so excited this weekend he put together our crib! BTW I have gotten a haircut between these pictures but you cant tell because my hair grows so fast and being pregnant just makes it grow that much faster. It looks like my hair has been the same length the whole time but I promise there was a haircut in there :)
Here is a picture of the baby's crib.... which we got for free!! I was so excited when I got a call from my dear friend Steph saying the family she nanny's for was getting rid of their crib and wanted to know if I wanted it. Heck yes I wanted it! I love free things, especially ones that look so cute!
Baby's crib and Wade showing off his achievement of putting it together! :)
The room is not completely finished but those are the colors we will have in there. Once we find out the sex we will add some gender specific polka dots in the purple band around the room. Plus we will the rest of the bedding and decorations :)
Awww, love the belly shots! (I blog hopped here from somewhere, and I don't know if I even remember.) Congrats on the pregnancy, my baby is turning a year old in a few weeks :sigh: and your pictures remind me of what feels like just yesterday!
ReplyDeleteSo cute, so exciting! I can see your joy, my friend. Wish I could be there to share it with you! Love you bunches (you honey of oats!) haha...okay, that was lame. :)
