Snow. I love it, but it is slowly becoming my enemy. I love seeing the fluffy white glittery joy cover the earth. I love making snow men, snow angels, and throwing snow balls but this time I can't do any of that and the more it snows the more I can't get out of my house. Especially with these crazy winds causing the wind chills to be -25 or like today -30. If I wasn't pregnant I would definitely be braving the weather and enjoying it to the fulliest, but since I have to worry about the little one inside me I am home bound. Here is a recap of my past few days...
Day One: Caught up on my sleep. Also, started getting caught up on my pile of work projectors. I actually enjoyed this day of being home because I was exhausted and needed a recoup day.
Day Two: Did some more work projects and got a bunch of things done that I was behind on. But I had a ton of energy. So I decided to clean out my closet and dressers, since I can't fit into half the stuff anymore. Quite productive. But getting a little stir crazy.
Day Three.... aka today: Still stuck inside. Hoping that my new cell phone arrives and that the cable guy shows up to hook up our dvr. I am though thinking I will try to make the best of today and make something delicious for dinner. I'm thinking I will make parmesan encrusted pork chops, garlic smashed potatoes, and some yummy dessert. I also am going to make some stuffed french toast to bake up tomorrow morning. Now I just need to decide on what to bake up for dessert... maybe I'll make something with pears since I have a drawer full of those.
Let me know if you all want to see a picture of our newest snowfall and I will post what our house looks like. It seriously is starting to look like a snow mound since there has been sooo much snow this winter. Okay time to try and be productive.
Thanks for the comment. We ARE indeed KSU grads! (2003-Chad and 2005-Chad and I).
