Sorry for the horrible lighting. But look how cute that Noah's Ark is and his little piggy bank!
Hub's grandpa made this. Isn't it amazing? He made it years ago when all his grandkids were little and we get to share it now with all our kids. I love it and am so excited to teach our kids animals through Noah's Ark.
We are also in the process of painting the rest of the inside of our house. This weekend the f.i.l. is coming in town to help paint almost the entire house. It will look so much better once it is done and I can't wait! So blessed to have people willing to come in town and help us complete our home projects before little man arrives. So once that painting is done, I will post pictures of the finished panty along with the new colors. Here is a picture of the colors we were deciding between:
We decided on the middle one. It's a light gray. It was so hard to decide which color to go with as it covers so many walls in our house and we wanted to pick something neutral enough that we wouldn't have to repaint again in a few years. Seriously y'all this color will go in our living room, part of the kitchen, the hallway, the entryway, and then down the stairs. A whole lot of painting will be done so we wanted to make sure it is neutral yet pleasant color. The couch color is a light blue, although in this picture it looks gray. I assure you the wall color and the couch color are not that close.
Hope this week is going great for you guys. I have been spending alot of time reading the Word and spending time thinking over the command "Love your neighbor as yourself." It has always been one of my favorite commands Jesus talks about. I think it is also one of the hardest things for us to do, especially as women because it requires that we first love ourselves so that we can love others like ourselves. So many insecurities hold us back from loving ourself the way that God does. I have really been working on loving everything about myself, even my pregnant self, so that I can love others the way God requires me to. And I think how much more beautiful the church would be if we all were able to embrace the person God made us to be and then share that love with those around. It truly would be amazing! Praying that God's love surrounds all of you today and that you see how beautiful you are to Him.
It totally looks the same color!!! I've always loved your Noah's Ark...
