One baby thing you can't live without...

I have been meaning to ask this for awhile but my brain seems to forget things the second I turn on the computer. Now that it is on my mind I figure I should ask.

What is the one piece of baby gear you can't live without?

We were so blessed by all our friends and family at our showers and have a pretty complete baby room and closet for lil man. But I am sure we have forgotten about something.

Please, help me out with your comment love :)

  1. Burp cloths. We used so many burp cloths/receiving blankets, etc. My son spit up all the time. Other than that simple little thing, a play pen was necessary for us because he slept in our room for 5 months. Annnd, the boppy was really handy and we used it all the time. He slept sitting up in that thing for the first few weeks. Not exactly pediatrician recommended for that, but it was a life saver for us! We used it for all sorts of things.

  2. We actually didn't need this until our daughter was about four months, but a Bumbo was that one thing I love and recommend to everyone. Even before she could sit up on her own, it helped her "sit up." She loved watching everyone, and I loved being able to have her right there with me wherever I was without having to lay her on the floor.

  3. The book The Baby Whisperer. Gooner was sleeping through the night except for 2 feeding mere days after coming home. Thank you Ms. Hogg! And other "WHAT TO DO???" moments when it is the middle of the night and you don't want to search the web, you just head to a page and read. Major. Life. Saver. And the Sassy Teether Basket http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3505954 I don't know how we would have survived without this. All the screaming stopped as soon as she saw me grab it. Frozen Dole Mango, wow THANK YOU!

  4. Oh my there isn't just ONE thing. But for me a swing was my God send! I had one of those cradle like ones, you could probably search through my blog and find it. Lo was colicky for 18 weeks and with out it I would have died. She took all (what few she took) in there.
As previously mentioned the boppy, we also let her sleep in that thing b/c she hate the hospital bassinet.
I liked the book Baby 411...answers all those "dumb" questions you have. :)
Other than that I probably could have survived without lots of things, but these convenience items sure do make your life better. :)
