Week 30... side view
Week 30.. front view
And here is one of me looking normal from my shower this past weekend.
I'm standing next to my sister in law, next is my grandma in law, aunt in law, and then my mother in law.
I feel so huge next to all of them.. not just the belly but the height too :)
How far along? 30 weeks 5 days!
Baby is the size of a(n): He is the size of a Yorkie terrier... not sure if I like to think of my baby as the size of a dog but I think its the best comparison I found on the web. He is about 15.5 inches long and weighs a little over 3 lbs.
Changes in me: Well I spoke too soon last week and now have begun the foot swelling. BUT I have realized that the days I take my allergy medicines I don't have the swelling so I'm thinkin they must somehow be related. Not sure how though but I have started to up my allergy meds to every other day now so I don't feel like I'm walking around on balloons and it has seemed to help. So we shall see.
Food cravings: Pinapple. I ate half of one yesterday and I could've ate the whole thing but decided if I did that I wouldn't have any for today. I also have been craving chocolate milk. I never drink milk but lately chocolate milk has been so good!
Sleeping: I actually have been only waking up 2 or 3 times a night for bathroom breaks now. I am hoping it stays this way but I'm guessing it will return to hourly again soon.
Milestones: Baby's finger and toe nails are fully developed now! He also is starting to get wrinkles on his brain.
Babies activity: He's still moving around. He likes to roll acrosss my belly now and I can see him start at one side and go to the other. Provides me with many laughs throughout the day
Interesting things that happened this past week: When I was at my doctor's appointment on Monday she kept trying to get little guy's heartbeat but he just didn't want to let her and was rolling all over my belly. We were both just laughing cause we could see him moving away from her everytime she put the monitor up to my belly. Finally after the 4th attempt she was able to get a good read. She then asks me if he ever lets me rest. I informed her that his nickname is already lil stinker cause he never lets me rest and loves being awake in the middle of the night. I can't wait to see how his personality is going to be when he arrives.

You look amazing, as usual! I just bought that cute purple dress at the thrift store the other day! It still had tags on it, and I fell in love, I think it's so cute! Isn't it amazing how QUICK the weeks go? Agh! Have a great weekend, and yes, we must storm chase some day. ;)
ReplyDeleteyou are getting SO close!! I loved the 3d pics you had up, we didn't do that and I wished we had they are so cool! I love these posts and wished I had done something like that to remember, but it is funny how they act in the womb is pretty much how the act outside the womb! HA!
ReplyDeleteDear girl, it feels to me that YOUR pregnancy went FASTER than mine...not fair. He's going to be so wonderful IRL!!!The nursery, everything is wonderful!
