Two plus months

So I'm a little late on posting lil man's two month info but better late then never right? I did have everything together on time I just kept forgetting to get on here and add the stats from his appointment. Thanks for all your comments about his cuteness, we think he is quite adorable ourselves :)

Look at that smile..I could just eat him up!

G-man,
You are getting to be quite the big boy already! When we took you to the doctor your weight gain was off the charts,  you now weigh in at 14lbs 13oz. We are glad you are growing so well and enjoy eating so much  more now that mommy has cut out tomatoes. (But please, don't hate tomatoes your whole life your Italian momma doesn't know how to make too many foods without them) Speaking of growth you are a tall boy too, measuring 23 3/4"you are in the 85% for your age. Luckily though, you still fit into most of your 0-3 month clothes. As the doctor put it you are just one solid boy. We like to think you will be a future linebacker for the K-State Wildcats :)
We can't believe how big you are getting! You now lift your head up for 30 seconds at a time and love getting your chest off the floor so you can see everything around you. Often when mommy or daddy are carrying you you like to be laying with your feet on our stomachs and your head parallel to the floor, which makes it quite awkward to carry you around. But we love it! We love seeing your curiosity for the world around you.
You have begun smiling real big and cooing at everybody.  We love to show you off to people and see how calm and happy you are to meet new people. Our favorite time  of day is when daddy gets home from work and you get a big smile on your face and let out a little chuckle. You love your daddy! You have also begun to coo and babble at us. In the morning your favorite game to play with mommy is the face game. You like to mimic the faces I make, especially sticking out your tongue and when I look away from you you coo and babble at me until I look back. I love our special time of day!
You have begun to sleep 7 hours a night! This has made your mommy and daddy very happy. You also have slowed down on your feedings and now nurse about every 3 hours, except at night. We are so proud of you lil' man! You are such a joy to have in our family and we are daily blessed by your presence.  We love your playful spirit and how laid back of a baby you are. You remind  us of how much God loves us and remind us to be joyful in all things. It is so fun to see you growing up and we continue to pray for God to protect you and lead you in His ways.
Love you,
Mommy and Daddy

  1. He is definitely a cutie! I love these updates. I had to cut out onions for my little one back in the day, which was hard b/c I put onions in everything, the sacrifices of the mother. :) After around 4 mo though she tolerated it again, so hopefully, it won't be too much longer!!

  2. He is SO cute! What a chunker, too. I'm used to little bean pole babies. I think Q was 6mo before he weighed 14 pounds, lol! I kind of hope our baby girl has some chunkiness to her!
