1~ I am horrible at remembering to pick up everything we need while I am out and about at the stores. 2~ I started the 30-day shred this weekend and have been loving it! It feels so good to workout again. I'm not sure if I will actually lose any weight with it though since I have been eating ice cream every night and made up snikerdoodle cookies this weekend, but hey at least I am burning off some of those calories ;)
3~ Yesterday was beautiful out! In the morning it was a nice 73* so we went out on a family walk around the lake. I love being able to get out together and walk. Plus it is so fun to people watch there. One lady yesterday was wearing black long-sleeves and black pants while also being covered in very florally smelling perfume. Interesting!
4~ God is slowly teaching me to release my idea of perfection. I am quickly learning that if I try to do things on my own strength I am going to fail and fail hard. It's funny how God keeps moving me and changing things around me when I get comfortable it is like he is telling me to stop trying to make perfection for myself but instead trust in His plan and His hands. I need Him more than ever now but find it harder and harder to go before Him. I guess that's the feeling of guilt right? When we know something is wrong and instead of confronting it we hide. Um much like Eve in the garden.
5~ And of course what would be a post without a picture of lil'man asleep in his crib;)

I'll be praying for you, dear. We all go through these moments and while we prefer to always be on fire and strong in Christ, we are too human. And He knows this. He'll use this time to mold you, as I am sure you are already beginning to see.

ReplyDeleteHe is so cute! I love it. Ahhhhhhh perfection, likes to bite you in the butt. Gooner got her shots today so this day has been anything BUT perfect. It is so great that you get to be outside in some coolness! I'm jealous.
