Q&A part two

Thanks again for all the questions, and hopefully getting me out of my blogging rut!

Did you go to college? What did you take?
Yes I went to Kansas State University and got a degree in Family Life and Community Service. I eventually want to go back and get a Masters in Counseling, but I'm not sure when I will head back to school for that.

If you HAD to choose ONE blend of coffee/coffeebean from Starbucks, what would it be? Bold? Acidic?
Great question but so hard to answer cause I like so many of the coffees! But if I was picking based on my current life I would say Sumatra, because it still holds it body and boldness as a decaf.

AND Ms. Shift Lips herself, what drink BEST defines you? Not your fav. no no, what defines YOU!? If, IF milk and sugar can "define" a person. or are you Tea?
Haha! Yes Ms. Shift lips :) For those of you that don't know I use to be an Assistant Store Manager at Starbucks, when I was a Shift Manager apparently I gave a certain look to everyone when I wanted them to get something done. I just gave them sassy lips but it got dubbed shift-lips. Too bad they didn't really work ;)
I would say the drink that best defines me, if milk and sugar can define a person would be..... a Pumpkin Spice Latte, and I don't just say that cause it's one of my favorites. I picked that drink because fall is my favorite season and when I think of fall I think of being cozy and comfortable. I think I am the kind of person that is warm and friendly someone people feel comfortable with. BUT like the pumpkin spice latte I have a spicy side. And when it comes to something I am passionate about I can get quite spicy with my attitude and how I respond. Must be those Italian genes in me.

What have you decided about your hair?
I still haven't! I think I am just going to get it cut to my shoulders. I wish I had a good stylist here but the two different places I have gone to I have hated and therefore it has made me want to stay safe with my hair. I need to get it cut though because it is constantly in a ponytail these days.

How do you feel about staying at home? Do you miss working? Miss the Bucks?

I love staying home! It is so great to be home and able to watch all the small milestones LB goes through each week! I am so blessed that W has a job that affords me the right to stay home and watch our child grow.
But I do miss the bucks. I really enjoyed being able to do a job I loved and interacting with different people each day.  And an added bonus was being able to drink all the coffee I wanted too.  I don't think I miss actual working though.
Being a stay-at-home mom is much more my style because I get to make my own schedule and it is way more go with the flow. I am not a good schedule person so I like the flexibility staying at home brings. I like being able to sit in our house all day if I want or spending the whole day running around town. When I worked the hardest thing for me was knowing that I had to keep a schedule and I couldn't just decide that morning that I didn't like what was planned. So all and all I am very happy with being home :)

Ski or snowboard?
Well I have only skied once and never snowboarded so I would go with ski. But I would love to do more and learn how to snowboard it seems like so much fun! I do however love to water-ski and wakeboard. Something about falling in water seems less painful to me. The one time I went skiing I refused to fall down so I would flail down the mountain instead of just tipping over.

Would you go camping with us? The kind where you pee in the woods?
I would love to go camping... but the pee in the woods kind I think I could only handle for a day or two. W on the other hand would love that and last weeks! I am sure though with the great company I would be able to suck it up as long as I was able to have coffee and chocolate with me ;)

Have you ever had poison ivy?
Nope, never. I have had several times when I have been out with people and they get it and I somehow don't. I hope I never get it though because it seems annoying!

How do you feel about inspiration boards?
I wish I had known about them sooner! Thanks for introducing me to them. They sound fabulous to me! I think I may make one for how I want to decorate our bedroom. And maybe if I hang it up in there it will give W a hint and he will start working on it.

All time favorite Psalm?
Great question. I would say right now it would be Psalm 46. I love verse 10 "Be still, and know that I am God" I need that reminder all the time!

Hope you all are having a great week! If you have another other questions that I didn't answer in these post feel free to ask :)
