~1~ On Saturday night I got a text message around 10pm that said " When are you going to send me a picture of that baby of yours? Oh wait I remember you hate me." Ummm weird. I don't even know who this is and you are telling me I hate you but you want to see my baby? I was tempted to reply why yes I hate you by the way who is this? But instead I spent time investigating the number and found out it was from one of my cousins whom I haven't spoken to in years. My mom's side of the family has some real crazies in it. No joke. One of my cousins has 5 babies from 5 different guys. I often pray over those children, as I know only our good Lord can save them.
~2~ We got 10 inches of snow on Saturday night. Right when I was getting ready for a sushi outing with my MOPS table. I was going to brave the roads and head out anyways but our street had so many drifts on it that some spots were a few feet tall and there was no way my car would make it. The worst part of this all is that hubs ordered pizza for himself so I just got to watch him eat cheesy goodness while I lamented about not having sushi or pizza. But on the plus side I did loss 2 pounds last week and didn't gain any of that back Saturday night, which I would have if I had eaten sushi.
~3~ I did it. I cut LB's hair. Okay well I didn't really cut it, hubs did. But I held LB still during the whole process and I may have let out a tear or two. I was not ready at all to cut his hair but after bath time there were so many tangles that the only thing we could do was cut them out. He looks like a totally different baby to me, well now he looks like a toddler not my little baby anymore. But I guess this day had to come.
~4~ I found a new coffee shop in town. They roast their own beans there and have a huge selection of flavored coffee as well as regional coffees. My favorite so far is birthday cake coffee and its even in decaf. It really does taste like confetti cake eaten while enjoying a cup of coffee. I love it. And its so much better for me then really eating my cake with coffee. Heaven in a cup.

Oh man the birthday coffee is in decaf! You are killing me. Good flavored decaf is hard to find. We lost our coffee shop like that. :(

And LB looks adorable, but I know it would be hard. Lo could use a shape up, but I just can't bring myself to cut her hair.

I only drink decaf...but never pay high prices for the special coffees. I do put a little milk in mine with some sugar and some vanilla sometimes! (I like it and I pretend it is a Starbucks!)

ReplyDeleteAwe, I love his hair! We totally need to take Gooner in to cut her hair. It is a MILLION different lengths! Can I please just come and have coffee with you????? That YUMMY coffee? And you know how I feel about sushi so I don't feel bad for you at ALL. BUT, about the pizza, I cry inside about that. bah!
