You are three months old! The last month with you has been a joy. You are the calmest and happiest baby. You are constantly smiling at people and hardly cry. And best of all you just adore your big brother, whenever he is near you light up and coo and aww at him as he squeezes and kisses you. Sometimes mommy and daddy have to pull him away from you bc it appears he is hurting you but you let out a yelp at us to let him go as you were quite content with his game. It melts my heart! I pray you two will always be friends and love each other deeply.
This month you began sleeping thru the night, you would go 11 hours with no fuss. But then last week you decided it is much more fun to party at night and wake up every 2-3 hours. I really hope you return to your long stretch soon so we can save all the play time for the day :)
month you have also begun scooting in your crib and flipping to your side. You haven't figured out the full tummy to back flip but are so close. So this month we will be working on that task as big brother continues to encourage you! You also love to suck your thumb. It is the cutest thing. I love hearing the sweet sound over the monitor as you soothe yourself back to sleep and I love watching you thru the rear view mirror in the car soothing yourself. No wonder you are always so calm, you have a built in soother.
We are so blessed to have you in our family. You bring such joy to us all and we could not imagine our family without you. I pray as you grow The Lord continues to develop your sweet spirit into the woman He has made you to be.

ReplyDeleteHi Kelley, it's nice to see pics of the new member of your family....she is adorable....I also loved the thumb sucking.....regardless of all the things ppl told me.....I loved the self sufficiency of it also....I will be in O in Nov. and hope to see you all again....our new strawberry plants are thriving and we are going to add some....we enjoyed seeing yours last summer.
