Here are some pics we took when we got home since we don't have many together with this belly of mine :)
In our living room
Ooh lala ;)
Before our date night I went out to target to get a maternity dress. I ended up with two of them... the one in the picture and this one:
Sorry for the poor quality but as you can see it was taken on my cell phone in the dressing room... hope that's not illegal but I had to text my sis for advice on which to buy ;)
Best part of this shopping excursion is that everything I bought was with left over Christmas money so they were free to me :) I am one of those people who saves all gift money forever until I find exactly what I want to spend this extra cash on. I had been thinking for awhile I wanted to pick up some dresses for baby boy's showers but hadn't found one I really liked... so this past Friday I went out and found 2! I think I may get one or two more cause they are so comfy and will last, hopefully, the rest of pregnancy. Plus I still have like $100 left of gift money to spend. We will see though.
Let me know if you check out the site and decide to do the dates as well. Would be fun to hear how God grows everyone's marriages even stronger through date nights. Since this post is already getting ridicilously long I will post how the date went tomorrow.
One last thing, here is a verse I found last week that has really been on my heart so I thought I'd share it with you all:
"See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first. As has just been said:
"Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion." Hebrews 3:12-15
I love how it reminds us to encourage one another every day, not just when we have bible study or church but each day make sure that no one becomes hardened by sin's deceitfulness. Such a good reminder!

Awesome, I am glad you are doing the dates! (yes, it was my blog you found it on ;) ). we are going on our first date tomorrow!! I am excited! I am finding we are more alike the more I read your blog...to bad we don't live in the same area so we could actually meet up! I too save up all my gift card/money until I find exactly what I want, it can takes months if not a full year before I spend it! HA!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see how the date went! The dresses both looked great. I loved leggings and dresses when I was pregnant!
Love you :) You look wonderful and beauitful!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! You guys are way too cute, love the dress and the kissy picture. Beware, in the future, kissy pictures often precede pregnancy announcements. ;) Hee!
ReplyDeleteOk, I went to that website and the guy was WAY TO ANNOYING for me to download and listen to. Yuck. I don't like him and you know how I judge and hold a grudge and NEVER change my mind. Well, that's how I feel. :) You look totally awesome. Seriously, the dates get better with kids. Oh, Valentines Day was awesome with Gooner. Really. Life just keeps getting better and better!
