I woke up this morning to more snow. Bummer, I really thought it had stopped and we were beginning spring. I guess though living a little north means snow can happen whenever it wants but man was I so excited to have some spring in the air. The sad thing is we still have our Christmas lights up. Please, no need to judge we did have about 3 feet of snow on the ground until last week. It finally melted away and then bam more snow. I should've sent the hubs out there to get them down during our snow break... if only I had known.
So I guess the garden is going to have to wait a few more weeks to start. Which btw, I am not a capable of keeping anything alive. It is all my husband. He has a green thumb and is able to make beautiful tomato plants and really anything for that matter. I have been known to kill catus plants. So I am working hard at trying to convince him to do a guest post on gardening so he can share his tips with you all if you are thinking about starting one this year. Once summer comes around I can post about what to make with the abundance of your garden but I have no clue on the planting and nuturing part, I just know how to cook with it all.
Seriously guys, what is up with this snow? I really thought we were starting spring. I mean I have even had birds flying and chripping around in our backyard. I saw grass turning green. My allergies kicked in full force. Come back spring, please. I will even not complain of the massive sinus headaches you cause me. I thought this Sunday when we sprung the clocks ahead an hour that meant winter was gone...even if it isn't the official start to spring. I blame this all on the groundhog, stupid shadow. I guess with all this snow today it just means I will spend some more time indoors working on tidying up our house or switching our baby registery items around again. Hope you all are not experiencing this snowfall, but if you are unfortunate enough to have it hope you are staying warm inside.
I guess this is a good opportunity for me to practice "giving thanks in all circumstances" (1 Thess. 5:18a)
Oh my goodness!! That's a lot of snow. I was in KC this last week and it was cold, dreary, drizzly/rainy the whole time I was there! I was thankful to be going back to warmth. Come visit!!
