Favorite spots

Now that it is getting hot out I miss living near this....

 

I loved hot summer nights walking the streets of Old Town Alexandria being cooled by the breeze of the potomac river.  We would always make a stop by my favorite starbucks for iced coffee...

I wish I had a picture of the inside. Old restored building with the original stone still in it, so beautiful. I could have sat in there for hours, but living so near the Capitol it was always busy and never enough seating for all the people who wanted to sit and enjoy the company of others. I also miss being able to see the city when looking out over the river...

 

After taking in the view of D.C. we would end the day stopping by one of the many ice cream shops....

 

I am so grateful for where God has brought us now, but this will always be one of my favorite places. We look forward to bringing our family to this spot and sharing new memories there with our kids.
