Lame

I have become a lame blogger. I am sorry for this. I do mean to post more. But whenever I get on the computer to write up a post I have a huge brain fart. Yep, I do. My brain just stops working and I can't get out what I want to share.
Mommyhood has taken over my life. And apparently my brains. It has also taken over my body. But I do thank you all for your sweet words on my last post, I guess black really does cover up a lot :) I still have 14 pounds to go and my pre-pregnancy clothes sit there and taunt me each and everyday. I can't wait for that day that I can put back on my favorite jeans.
Speaking of losing weight. Today as I walked around the mall with my friend, who is being induced tomorrow night, we walked by starbucks and saw that the Pumpkin Spice latte is back. Why oh why do you have to come back into my life when I am trying to lose weight. I cannot resist. Nor can I resist carbs, I live on pasta and bread. I thought the other day I could limit the carbs I consume in a day... I lost that battle 2 hours into it. I just love bread too much! But I have begun eating celery and peanut butter instead of ice cream cones every night...baby steps.
I will leave you with this cuteness, who we have taken to calling LB (linebacker). I think this will be his new blog name. :)

  1. welcome to mommyhood, where your brain officially no longer functions. HA! It will slowly slowly slowly return to about 1/4 capacity after a year. :)
don't cut out the carbs! I hate when I see ppl say that. You will lose it I promise!
I love the nickname linebacker. When Lo was that age she was huge too, gotta love that breastmilk :) And we use to call her a middle line backer.

Still love all the posts :)

  2. Oh you sound just like me with all of those foods you love. Pumpkin Spice lattes already? My favorite seasonal drink is the Gingerbread Latte. Oh God help me! Your linebacker is too cute!

  3. Hey beautiful! LB just likes to take all of that brain energy from you right now. I will say a little prayer for those "cute jeans" to stop taunting you. That's so mean of them. Jeans just don't seem to understand the human body. I wish they understood better. I wish they would just grow with you and not tell us so we would feel all good in them. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have that capability. IN the mean time, you really do look great. Keep up the good work...and don't skimp on those pumpkin spice latte's. They are a happy drink. Love ya!

  6. I love catching up on blogs, but don't have as much time to do so anymore. Totally understandable if you don't post as much as before! Your little guy is SO cute! I had a free drink coupon for my B-Day, so I got a Venti Toffee Mocha today. Mmm...It was delightful! I'm also making lemon streusal bars this evening, so yeah...not exactly helping the baby pounds to melt off! ;-)

  7. I think my brain started working again around ten months. Nice! And 14 pounds, you are awesome! I think I put on 14 pounds in going out to eat this weekend! I think you have a friend coming tomorrow or else I'd call! Love.
