Beautiful weather the past few days meant lots of time outside exploring for LB. We had fun getting outside and enjoying the sunshine. LB got his hands in quite a few things that probably weren't good. I think he may have even licked some rabbit poop, I know awesome right. I am trying not care so much when he sticks nasty things into his mouth but its hard. I try to remind myself that he will be okay, even if he does ingest some dirt or wood glue. Yes, yesterday he pulled apart one of his wooden toys and was scraping the wood glue off with his bottom teeth. Is this just a boy thing or do all babies do this? Have I also mentioned we do not have a gate for our staircase yet? I thought I would be able to keep a watchful eye on LB and prevent a tumble down the stairs, but I am rethinking this as he is into everything and testing his limits on the stairs more and more each day. Maybe its time to suck it up and spend the 150 bucks for the only gate that fits our stupid stairs. I digress. Here are some cute pictures of our outdoor adventures the past few days.
Here he found our very dead basil plant...good thing we kept it around for exploring ;)
Determined to get to the grass
Figuring out that he can rip the grass out of the yard with little effort ;)
Mom, can I eat it? (This is when I think he also licked the rabbit poop)
This one is from my cell phone but I love it. He is getting so big!
Unfortunately it looks like there is snow in the forecast for this weekend. Only in the midwest would it be 80* one day at 35* the next. So looking forward to more warm days and outdoor adventures with LB :)

Haha, the rabbit poop cracked me up. We're getting snow tonight. I hope it's the last time. We need some consistently nice weather for playing outside!
ReplyDeleteGrooooooossssssssssssss, rabit poop. Gooner USED to eat everything as well. :) At one point he will stop putting EVERYTHING in his mouth and it will be wonderful. But then Gooner just ate cat litter full of pee. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteDon't buy one, see if Uncle John will come up there and make a custom fit gate for your stairs.
ReplyDeleteCan you believe this weather?? I do not want anymore snow. AHHH!
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are adorable. I love the little jeans. Little baby/almost toddlers are so cute when they stand up!!
We would love to go on a trip with you guys!! That would be a blast. I got my shirt in Manhattan this year at Varney's. I tried to look it up on line for you and all I found was the juniors.

Maybe you could call them up and ask if they still have it?
