Head on over to Carissa's blog and join in the miscellany. btw can anyone tell me how to make this button link back to her blog...my brain cannot figure out how to get the link to copy correctly.
1~ We took our first family outing this weekend to Target. I am so glad I had hubs along with me for the outing, not sure I could have handled it alone yet. I didn't realize just how many people would stop to stare at lil g-man.
2~ Lil gman is an oinker. We went to the doc for his 2 week checkup and found out he is gaining about 2 oz a day. Most newborns gain between .5-1 oz a day. No wonder he wants to eat every hour... he is trying to double the growth of a normal baby. Our little overacheiver ;)
3~ I purchased a Moby wrap while at said Target outing, but I am too afraid to try and put babe in it by myself. They pictures make it look so easy but trying to get a wiggling 2 week old in the wrap is not easy. I guess I will just continue to do everything one handed until he is bigger.
Okay, well lil g is hungry again so time to nurse again. I tried to trick him with a binkie but no such luck ;) Hope you all have a great week!
Blessings
I think you would really love the moby wrap. Try it out sitting on the bed first, and check out youtube, there are tons of videos for how to wear one.
ReplyDeleteHurrah for trips out! It's nice to get out and enjoy some fresh air, huh?!
Aw cute!
ReplyDeleteI hope you use the Moby. I used to nanny a newborn and they didn't have a Moby, just a carrier but I used it all the time in the house.
I loved my hotsling. it's kinda similar to the Mobi. You will love it once he stops wiggling. Thanks for sharing your randomness!

I know on Wordpress you can link the pictures back to the person's blog this way: when you insert the picture, you should be able to click it and a web address input box pops up. But not sure about blogger.
ReplyDeleteI will never forget the first time I took Lo out. Ahh! I swore we were never leaving the house again. She started crying in Walmart and I just lost it and left! HA!
ReplyDeleteOn the blog link thing, under the icon on Carissa's page there is an html code. Copy and paste it on your page under the html tab when posting. Then click back over to "compose" and viola you have a linky tab picture thing! Hope that makes sense?!!?
Miss you, Miss you. I'm sure your trip to target with the little one was amazing. Wish I was there to see all the googaly (sp?) eyes staring at your baby!
