1~ This week is the first week we will have all to ourselves. I'm not quite sure what we will do being all alone but I'm sure lil man is going to enjoy his time with just mommy and daddy.
2~ Sometimes when daddy is playing with lil gman he lets him do this:

4~ This weekend we took our first road trip 3 hours away. Lil man did so good! He made the trip there and back without needing to be nursed and slept the whole time.
5~ This Thursday (7weeks after he was born) I finally get to go to my doctor and be released for activities. I can't wait! I keep driving by the lake near our house and see all the new moms out there jogging with their strollers and wish I could join. I'm hoping its not too hot Friday morning so lil g and I can join all the mommies!
6~ Our tomatoes are finally coming in and they are sooo good! I will post some pics of our garden this week so you all can see how huge our plants have grown. They are taller than me!

I'm enjoying your blog makeover! I redid mine a couple weeks ago and then the background went away...so I had to revamp it again this weekend. UGH! But really, yours looks great! Loves to you!
ReplyDeleteI remember my first trip to Oklahoma with just Gooner and myself. I felt so insecure because she was my charge and I had to do it all myself! Scary scary. Thoughts like, "God, are you sure I'm ready to be a mother?" entered my thoughts. And then I had to go to the bathroom, bah. And once I got into the dirty stall I didn't want to put her down. Blech! Can't wait to see the tomatoes!
