Whine and cheese?

I have some exciting news! You all ready for this? It's big. LB no longer has a dairy allergy! How many of you thought I was going to say I'm pregnant? Anyone? Anyone at all? Well I'm not in case you were still thinking I might be. But to me LB not having a dairy allergy anymore is HUGE. I had my first piece of real cheese last week and it was amazing. I am trying to slowly reintroduce it to my system as to not shock my body or LBs but it is hard. Especially when W makes plans to go get cheesecake, tonight. I am kind of excited to eat some. I am going to try and limit myself to half a piece but we shall see how that goes. I have to admit I am a little worried about having dairy again only because not having it has helped me lose all my pregnancy weight plus some. I'm afraid the temptation of cheesecake and ice cream will pack those pound back on. Maybe it's time for me to learn self control? I'll try that ;)
Now on to the whine. LB woke up this morning with a super runny nose, congestion, and a yucky sounding cough. Can we ppplease have the tempature stay similar for more than a week? I hate seein LB sick and I know this back and forth weather is to blame. He was doing so good on sleep training in fact sunday night he slept from 730pm to 730am without a peep. Then last night he woke up every few hours sneezing and coughin an crying. Can this mama catch a break? At this rate LB will not have any siblings. I also woke up with the sniffles and so did W. A house full of sickie is no fun.
Okay enough whining. Off to drink loads of herbal tea and honey in hopes that it will clear these sickies up. Can't wait for LB to be old enough for the honey trick. Oh and btw I wrote this post on my iPod touch so if there are lots of mistakes that's why. LB fell asleep on my leg and I didnt want to try and move him to get to the computer to update.

  1. I'll admit I thought you were going to say you were pregnant. But since LB isn't one yet I was hoping not...that would be a lot of work. :) Yeah for no dairy allergy!! You are a rock star awesome momma for what you did. MW has tons of digestive things going on right now and we can't quiet figure it out...and if dairy is to blame, I can't say I would do what you did. :/ I could cut the dairy but it is all those other things dairy is in that would make it hard.
Congrats on getting back to you preprego weight!
    Enjoy yourself.
Sorry you all are sick. MW is doing the same thing. Last night he was up sniffling and whining every 20 minutes (you know just quiet long enough for you to maybe drift off...) and the night before every hour! Ugggg. I am definitely ready for some warm weather for good!

  2. Oh, I know, the sickness has to stop! We've just all had colds, and the virus I had ended up in my eyes as conjunctivitis too. I smiled at your comment that at this rate he won't have siblings. Sometimes I've felt the same way when things are rough! But, that's very exciting that the dairy allergy is gone! Hopefully before long everyone will stay healthy and you'll get the sleep on track for good.
