One month away from a year....

LB turned eleven months old on the tenth. I know I say this every month and I am sure I will continue too but time is flying! I cannot believe my baby is a full grown toddler now and he will be one in a month.  

Eleven Month

You are growing leaps and bounds this month! I am sure I say that every month but it seems like each day you are learning a new thing. You now have 8 teeth, and you have survived your second ear infection. You had mommy and daddy worried with this one because it was oozing and you were just not healing. Through the awesome power of prayer though you healed right up. Praise the Lord! 

You are about 23 lbs and 31.5 inches this month. You are definitely starting to thin out with all the crawling you are doing. You are pulling up and walking on everything now... I am sure it will be only a matter of a few weeks before you are walking on your own. You are mister independent and do not want mommy or daddy to help you stand up anymore. It's amazing to see you scale a wall in order to stand. Or to see how fast you can get into something you are not suppose to ;) 

You are speaking a lot more this month. You say mama, daddy, hi, and random other words here and there. You also learned how to say doggie. It is so fun to watch you with animals. You just light up around them. You want to pet them and talk with them. It is very sweet. Especially when you try to mimic them. One day we will have a puppy for you to play with and I am sure you will be so sweet with it.
You are eating 3 full meals a day and a few snacks throughout the day too. You love to eat whatever mommy and daddy have on their plates. Your favorite foods to eat our bread and apples, but only an uncut apple that you get to take a big bite out of. It is really cute seeing your little mouth try to fit around an apple. Most times you just scrape a little off with your teeth and repeat. I love sharing my apple with you :) You are nursing about 4 times a day but are losing more and more interest in it. It will be no time before you are weened and onto whole milk.

You love to be outside especially with your daddy. You and him spend many nights walking around outside pointing at all the trees and birds you see. This summer will be very fun with you playing in the yard and helping mommy and daddy pick strawberries and all the other goodies we are growing. You also love to get into all the cabinets in the kitchen. Your favorite kitchen gadget is our espresso machine, looks like you are going to turn into a coffee lover like us.
Thank you for all the joy you bring us each and every day. We are so blessed to have you as part of our family and love the boy you are becoming! We pray daily you will grow up knowing how great our God is and will praise Him for the life he has given you.
