Can y'all believe its already November? I feel like this year is just flying by! I am sure it is going to be over before we know it as the next 2 months are full of holiday fun and travel and indoor living. Oh man definitely not looking forward to that last one. Being outside makes the whole house happier and the cold winter months are not going to be fun, but I'm sure we will survive.
On to the stats:
Hospital weight: 176
Weight to date: 146
Pounds to go: 10
I only lost a pound this last month. I think I hit a wall. That combined with not being able to workout due to horrible hip pain has me at a stand still. But I have to remind myself my job right now is to grow my beautiful daughter, which judging from her stats I am doing a great job. Yes, I would love to fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes but I know that time will come and if not ill just get a new wardrobe. And really when does new clothes not make you feel better?
I am not dieting but I am trying to choose my snacks better. Every Sunday a make a huge batch of oatmeal banana muffins with flax seed in them and a batch of homemade cookies. I figure if I snack on those things ill be less tempted to eat candy. I also switched my nightly dessert from ice cream to yogurt and hot tea. I just can't do the whole no eating after 6pm thing. I enjoy food too much and if I stopped eating at 6 I'd wake up at midnight famished.
Also, I'm trying to limit my mochas and sugary lattes to once a week. I've noticed if I add cinnamon to my coffee I trick myself into thinking its sweet. Still not as good as a mocha but enjoyable.
Four month post babe picture:

You're doing great! I don't remember how much I still had to go at four months, but probably about the same as you. I think that plateau is probably normal around that time. I hit it too, but changing my eating habits helped a lot. You're such a skinny minnie you will definitely get there :).
ReplyDeleteGirl I hear your hip pain! Oh.my.word.I hear ya. Maybe a steroid shot like me?! It worked for about a month and then I got another one. For me it is arthritis and IT band issues.
ReplyDeleteYou look good btw! keep at it and it will come off.
