Week 13

I have been noticing some changes in me this week. Mainly that I can no longer fit into my regular jeans but I am not yet big enough to fit into maternity jeans. Sometimes this is frustrating as I can never figure out what to wear. I have a bellyband, which is wonderful sometimes but I have always had a booty, I think this is due to all my italian blood :), so the bellyband doesn't sit right around my waist. As in my booty pushes it up and it ends up being around my back thus giving me a plumbers butt. Wonderful, huh?!
Besides the awkward jean stage I am currently in I have started to feel much better! I am always hunger and hot though. I think this is what menopause will feel like. Seriously, it was 10* out last night and I was rolling up my sleeves with my windows down. Crazy!
Our little baby is the size of a peach this week!! And on Saturday, when I move into 14 weeks it will be the size of a lemon! No wonder my belly is not wanting to fit into my jeans anymore.
Well that's all I have to update... not sure how much baby information you all want, so let me know if this is too much or too little.  Hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. I love this post! I will be taking notes from you during your pregnancy for whenever we decide to start a family. Has any of Kelley Welch's teaching helped out at all?? :)

  2. Kelley Welch's class has helped but I think a combination of all the classes we took has prepared me well for this. Although, sometimes I wish, especially when we were trying, that I didn't know all the information. It makes you a little more weary and not as excited when you remember all the statitics. But now that we are in the second trimester I have been able to breath easier and enjoy the pregnancy more:) It is nice though having all that knowledge because every little change doesn't freak me out as much.

  3. I think knowing which piece of produce defines your baby is awesome. I especially love the week where you go from MELON to Banana... hmmmm. Don't know about that one...
