I will admit, when I first saw the name of these cookies I was a little nervous. Cinnamon and peanut butter are not two flavors I would think to combine, but these are delicious! Normally, I don't follow a recipe when making cookies and I tend to change almost everything about the recipe if there is one I get an idea off of
but when I stumbled across these cookies in a Martha Stewert Cookie cookbook I just had to try them the way the recipe says. I am glad I did cause they were delicious! I made them up for our guest this weekend and we finished off 3 dozen in 2 days, so good! AND the best part is this recipe makes about 5 dozen so it left plenty for freezing to bake up later. Okay here is a picture of the cookies and then the recipe.
Here is the ingredent list:
And the directions:
Make sure you put the dough in the fridge or else it will just stick to your hands and be impossible to roll. I was trying to rush making the cookies and thought I could just leave them in the fridge for 5 minutes and be okay, but I soon found out the dough really does need to sit for 15 minutes to become firm again. Oh and I did change up one thing and would recommend you do it as well if you can find them. Instead of putting in chocolate chips I added a bag of peanut butter chips/chocolate chips. I think nestle makes them but they are so good. Enjoy! :)
My mouth is watering...
ReplyDeleteThose sound super tasty. I made Coconut Macaroons again today and they were divine. I want you to make cup cakes for me again. ;)
